Local brewery broken into

Gulfport police are looking for a suspect after a break in.
An unknown man broke into the Chandeleur Brewing Company located on 14th Street in downtown Gulfport where he tried to steal money from the cash register. The suspect entered through the front door, but fled once the alarm started going off.
Police arrived at the scene shortly afterwards and were able to dust for fingerprints. Chandeleur Brew Master David Reese said, “Somebody took a shoulder to the front door. He busted in after we were closed. He came in and hopped the bar, tried to get some money out of the register and tried smashing it, but luckily we have alarms and the alarms went off and scared him off. He ran out of the front door.”
Nothing was reported stolen, but if you have any information on this you are urged to contact the Gulfport Police Department.
