Local attorney named Mississippi Bar president
A local attorney has been elected president of the Mississippi Bar.
Jenny Tyler Baker has been elected to serve as the 118th president of the Mississippi Bar for 2023-2024. She was installed on July 20th.
Baker has been in practice for 19 years and her platform emphasizes her calling to serve within her profession and community.
Throughout her tenure as president, Baker aims to prioritize the bar and community while expanding access to justice.
Baker also hopes to implement new benefits for bar members. “One of the things that we’re looking at this year is procuring group insurance for some of our bar members who may not have that through their employer so that we can offer that as a benefit to our members.”
Baker serves as the Wiggins City Attorney as a member of the Carr Allison Law Firm.
