Loaves and Fishes hosts last feeding at current location on Christmas Day

Loaves and Fishes has found a temporary new home and will host their last feeding at 610 Water Street on Christmas Day tomorrow.

For over 37 years, Loaves and Fishes has been providing meals to the Biloxi community, twice a day, four times a week and they will continue the tradition by serving meals to those in need tomorrow starting with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m.

Executive Director Suzanne Guice says she is excited for the future of Loaves and Fishes. “It’s so bitter sweet from here is that we have been here for around 13 years now. There is a lot of history here. There is a lot of people that have been coming here for years to eat with us. We have several volunteers who have been coming here for years. It is bitter sweet. It’s been a place of shelter and food and warmth and everything.”

Loaves and Fishes will start serving regularly at Back Bay Mission starting Tuesday, December 28th.
