Lizana Elementary students interact with parrot friends

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Friday morning, Lizana Elementary students got a visit from some truly interesting friends.

The crew from Primarily Parrots brought some of their colorful, chatty friends to teach students all the unique things about the species, including their diet, natural habitat, and adaptions.

Primarily Parrots is a free educational program that also serves as a conservation program for endangered species of parrots and other animals.

Looks like the parrots and the students all had a great time this morning.
