Lizana Elementary Journey students deliver pet supplies

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Journey students from Lizana Elementary School just delivered their pet supply drive donations to the Humane Society of South Mississippi this week.

This also marks five years of journey students leading and supporting the supply drive.

Students were given a tour of the dog and cat areas of the Humane Society, also visiting the clinic and thrift store.

Enrichment treats were created for the dogs. Students also got to play with kittens and puppies.
