SCHOOL DELAYS

Flooding At Gulfport High School Sends Students Home at 11:30 am.

Gulfport School District buses are rolling.  Students will stay at school an extra 30 minutes to make up lost time.

Biloxi Public School buses are running BUT if you do not feel safe sending your child to the bus stop, officials understand and know there will be tardies due to weather.

Ocean Springs Middle and High Schools will begin at 10 am.  All district elementary schools will begin at 9:30.

Keesler AFB has temporarily closed access until 10. Expect traffic delays.

MGCCC classes suspended until 11am. School officials say employees should report if possible but proceed with caution.

Senior Spring Fling in Gulfport has been CANCELLED due to weather.

FLOODING

Biloxi: Vehicles stalled in water on U.S. 90 in front of Hard Rock. Police using large military vehicle to rescue motorists on Rocky Mountain Drive.  Lemoyne Boulevard is completely flooded near Tiblier Plaza.

Gulfport: Dedeaux Road from Highway 49 to Dobson road is closed.  Police using military style vehicle to rescue residents from the Wingate Subdivision and bring them to local community centers.  Heavy flooding also reported on Courthouse Road.
