List of holiday event schedule changes
Due to the weather, holiday festivities across the Gulf Coast have been postponed or canceled.
The 19th annual Christmas in the City has been postponed due to expected rain. The Christmas festival will now be on December 9th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival will take place in Downtown Biloxi, hosting Santa Claus and many other holiday activities and treats. The Christmas on the Water Children’s Parade in Biloxi has been canceled.
The Lighting of the Town Green in Biloxi has been rescheduled. The lighting will now take place December 6th from 6:30 to 7:30.
Mistletoe and Main Street will also be postponing their event in Gulfport. The event will now take place on December 16th in Downtown Gulfport from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mistletoe and Main Street will have vendors, crafts, food, and lots of holiday fun.
In Gautier, the Lights and Lagniappe on the Bayou event has also been postponed. The event will now take place on December 9th at the former Singing River Mall Property on Highway 90. There will be Christmas music, pictures with Santa, South MS Gellyball, face painting, face painting, annual tree lighting, ‘Light the Night’ fireworks show, and more.
In Ocean Springs, Silent Light Garden Party at the Walter Anderson Museum of Art on Friday, December 1st has been canceled. The Light Festival and Silent Disco on Saturday, December 2nd is happening rain or shine! The disco starts at 5 p.m. and is an all-out bash lighting up the streets of Downtown Ocean Springs with performers and dancers, installations by artists, and more.
Due to inclement weather today/tonight, Harrison County’s annual Christmas in the Park has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
Pass Christian Pet Pawrade has been rescheduled for Saturday, December 9th at 12 p.m. The pawrade benefits Animal A.I.D. of Mississippi Rescue.
The Pass Christian Christmas Market has also been rescheduled to December 9th.

Jackson & George Counties Red Kettle Kick-off has been postponed due to the weather. Should anyone want to donate online to support The Salvation Army efforts please click here.
Due to the inclement weather, the Santa Paws event and the Santa Workshop will be moved to the D’Iberville Rec Center on Kajja Drive behind the D’Iberville Elementary School. The Christmas Parade has been canceled. The lighting of the Christmas Tree scheduled December 2nd will now take place Friday, December 8th at 5:15.
