LIST: Events for America 250 Fourth of July celebrations

Fourth of July is fast approaching and this year marks a huge milestone: America’s 250th birthday.

Cities and organizations across South Mississippi are celebrating America250 with different events. We will continue to update this list as more events are announced.

Moss Point:

  • Riverfront Time Capsule 50th year Anniversary Ceremony- Saturday, July 4 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Moss Point River Front

Pascagoula:

  • Yankee Doodle Dog and Kid Parade- Saturday, June 27. Parade lines up 9:30, rolls at 10 a.m. Live music from 10:30 to 12:30 in Downtown Pascagoula
  • America 250 Celebration in Downtown Pascagoula on Saturday, June 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • City of Pascagoula Fourth of July fireworks show-July 4 at 8:45 at Pascagoula Beach

Gautier:

  • City of Gautier’s Big Birthday Bash: Gautier’s 40th birthday and America’s 250th birthday on July 2 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Gautier City Hall

Ocean Springs:

  • 250 Block Party- July 2nd at Ocean Springs Municipal Library from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Freedom over Ocean Springs Fireworks Show- July 3 beginning at 7 p.m. at Front Beach

Biloxi:

  • Stars, Stripes, and Seafood- July 3 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at E. 1st Street
  • Biloxi Shuckers Fireworks Friday- Game starts at 6:35, fireworks to follow
  • Fireworks in Paradise-July 4 at Paradise Pier
  • Red, White, and Biloxi-July 4 at Biloxi Town Green from 5 p.m. to 9:30
  • Boom Boom Committee Fireworks Show-July 4 at 9 p.m., Viewing locations include Biloxi Lighthouse, beachfront along HWY 90, public beaches and waterfront areas

Gulfport:

  • Ignite the Night Fourth of July fireworks show- July 4 at 8:45 p.m. at Jones Park

Long Beach:

  • Long Beach 4th of July Jubilee-Saturday, June 27 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 201 Jeff Davis Avenue

Waveland:

  • Buccaneer State Park America 250 – July 3 and 4, all day

Diamondhead:

  • Diamondhead 4th of July Fireworks Celebration-July 3 from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Harbor Drive

Stone County:

  • America 250 Celebration- July 3 at 9 p.m. at Flint Creek Water Park

Poplarville:

  • 250th Birthday- June 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the town green

Picayune:

  • 2026 Independence Day Celebration- July 4 at 4 p.m. at the City Hall of Picayune
