Leaving the scene of a crash

Jacob Reynolds of Vancleave is now behind bars for leaving the scene of a crash.

Early this morning, police received a call of a car crash on Government Street at Cash Alley where a Mitsubishi Endeavor crashed into two light poles, two trash cans and a fire hydrant.

The driver was not in the vehicle when police arrived.

Police were able to identify Reynolds as the driver of the car and he later turned himself in. Reynolds was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a crash-damaging property.
