Law Enforcement And Legislative Luncheon

Happening now a legislative and law enforcement luncheon at the Island View in Gulfport. Mississippi state lawmakers are with several members of law enforcement in Harrison County, including Gulfport, D’iberville, and Biloxi police departments, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, and the DMR. The purpose is to bridge the gap between the two agencies and address concerns in either law enforcement or government. Major topics include habitual offenders, community relations, and opioid drug abuse in the state. This is the first luncheon held between law enforcement and Mississippi legislators.
