Law enforcement investigating string of vehicle burglaries across the Coast
HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-Law enforcement agencies are investigating a string of vehicle burglaries along the Gulf Coast.
Between the dates of March 12th and March 21st, numerous vehicle burglaries were reported from D’Iberville to Bay St. Louis. During an investigation, officers were able to positively identify two suspect vehicles in the areas of the burglaries. Further investigation led to the vehicles being found in Satsuma, Alabama.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, and with the assistance of Satsuma Police Department, executed multiple search warrants in Satsuma, Alabama related to the string of vehicle burglaries along the Coast.
Five perpetrators from Satsuma were identified as being involved in the burglaries. Multiple arrest warrants will be issued from the respective jurisdictions across the Coast.
Officers initiated the search and found items that were taken during the commission of the vehicle burglaries, including multiple firearms. Drugs and other fire arms were recovered by the Satsuma Police Department.
