Late night shooting in Biloxi

Biloxi police were called to Hidden Oaks Apartments on Abbey Court last night just after midnight.
Biloxi police tell News 25 that the victim is a 44-year-old man and that he sustained non-life threatening injuries. People who were nearby reported to officials that they saw a car leaving Hidden Oaks Apartments.
Detectives say an argument likely led to the shooting. The shooting is still under investigation and they cannot release any more details on the suspect at this point. Ruben Sabio with Biloxi PD said, “Our dispatch received calls about shots fired at this facility and upon the arrival of the officers they found the people involved were already gone. However, someone reported that they saw a possible victim limping away and shortly thereafter an officer responded to our local hospital here and a black male victim showed up with gunshot wounds.”
