Lapointe-Krebs House in Pascagoula receives award

The Lapointe-Krebs House and Museum in Pascagoula has received an exciting award.

The Southeastern Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians has awarded the house with their highest distinction: the Best of the South Preserving Southern Excellence Award for 2023.

A little background information on the home, it was built during the French Colonial Period in 1757 and may be the oldest house between the Appalachian and Rocky Mountains.
