Landon Road improvement project wraps up in Gulfport

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Gulfport is celebrating the completion of the $5 million Landon Road reconstruction and corridor improvements project.

This investment brings major upgrades to one of Gulfport’s most important corridors.

Key improvements include wider roadways with added capacity, a new 10-foot shared use pathway, enhanced draining infrastructure, decorative lighting, brick paver crosswalks, and a new mast-arm traffic signal.

This is all to create safer travel for motorists and pedestrians, improve traffic flow, enhance connectivity for homes, school and businesses, and long term infrastructure.
