Landmarks on the Gulf Coast lighting up teal

If you see a few landmarks on the Mississippi Gulf Coast lit up in blue, it’s all for a good reason!

Landmarks being lit in teal to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s.

This comes from the Light the World in Teal program.

November 1st was chosen as it is the start of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month.

Landmarks on the coast include the Biloxi Lighthouse, The Coast Coliseum’s marquee, and the Round Island Lighthouse in Pascagoula.
