Kroc Center brings back Taste of South Mississippi
After three long years, the Kroc Center in Biloxi is back with the Taste of South Mississippi.
Twenty-seven different restaurants from across the Coast came to the event to give out various samples of food off of their menus.
Guests were able to stop by as many booths as they wanted and sample as much food as their stomachs could handle.
Restaurants offered a wide array of food including seafood, pastas, meats, and desserts. When finished sampling, guests were also able to vote for their favorite restaurant with voting results displaying in real time. Kroc Director Danielle Emery said, “Just really so excited… a little nervous at the gate getting started wondering will people be able to come to this, immediately the restaurants started jumping on board. My heart is so full right now. I’m so happy. Just the love shows from everybody here.”
Along with the food, guests were able to participate in a silent auction with about 100 different items up for bid.
