Krispy Kreme offering free donuts people who have received the COVID-19 vaccine
Millions of Americans are lining up across the country to receive their COVID-19 vaccine. In hopes of expanding that number and in conjunction with their Act of Joy Campaign, Krispy Kreme is offering an incentive that’s just too good to pass up.
For the next year, the American donut company and coffeehouse chain is giving away a free donut to anyone who has gotten either their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
How many free donuts can you get in a year? The answer is unlimited. All you need is your vaccination card for proof.
Director of Operations Billy Dorgan says a goal of Krispy Kreme’s year long vaccine and donut special is to provide a little joy in a rough year. “That is going to be for the entire year. Yes, yes, it is. We are so excited about being able to do that and recognizing those who had the vaccination. Indeed, it is almost too good to be true but it is a reality. We are really giving away a free original glaze for anyone who has that vaccine. We just launched on this past Monday and so far on the social platform we are seeing so many positive remarks. A lot of customers are excited we are offering just to create a little joy through this program.”
Krispy Kreme’s initiative also includes their ‘Be Sweet’ campaign encouraging customers to highlight the kindness of others during the pandemic.
The specials come with a glazed sweet treat.
