King’s Christmas Display up and running

The Christmas spirit can be felt again this year at the King’s Christmas Display in Woolmarket.

After a 22 year hiatus, the display is back, free and open to the public to visit and enjoy. While taking in the lights there is also hot cocoa, candy canes, and visits from Santa Claus on the weekends.

Visitors say they are thrilled to have this Coast tradition back this holiday season. Attendee Hope Goldin said, “We used to come when her mother was two-and-a-half and she came with her brothers and now we’re bringing Molly and we’re so glad the King family has opened this back up. It’s so exciting for another generation to get to enjoy.”

Lisa Krol with the King’s Christmas Display said, “So, of course, it just rekindled that spirit where I had to absolutely bring it back and spent the entire year rebuilding and remaking, repainting, making new items, getting things ready for last Christmas and here we are two years later.”

The display is running every evening from 6 to 10 p.m. until December 29th.
