Kiln Man Accused of Sexual Battery on a Minor

Bond has been set for a Kiln man accused of sexual battery on a minor.
Hancock County deputies arrested 66-year-old Alex J. Pearson on 21 counts of sexual battery, one count of touching a child for lustful purposes and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Investigator Glenn Grannan tells News 25 the victim is under the age of 12. He says Pearson had access to her through family and friends.
Justice Court Judge Tommy Carver set Pearson’s bond at $2.2 million.
