Kids summer camp continues at Lynn Meadows
Lynn Meadows Discovery Center finished their tenth week of summer camp today for kids ages four to 10.
Each day consists of eight different camps, all separated by age group. The day activities included an Astro camp, an itty-bitty theater, a cooking class, and a secret garden camp.
Executive Director of the Center Cindy DeFrances says each camp is meant to provide a safe and fun environment for parents to leave their kids for the day. “We try to base all of our camps not only around fun, but educational purposes so that parents, when they drop them off here, they feel like they’re not only having fun, but they’re learning something as they’re here spending hours, they’re getting a good education behind their summer camp time.”
While each camp is filled with hands on activities or performances, the kids are also learning something new each day. The camp continues next week and is just $75.
