Kids Fishing Camp Gulfport Police Department

Looking to keep the kids busy this summer?
The Gulfport Police Department is offering free fishing camps for your little ones.
Kids ages 9 to 13 will learn the fundamentals of fishing and reel in some new pointers on the sport.
The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources will also be instructing campers on boating safety and laws.
Participants will also learn about the fishing and marine culture here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
And they will leave with a gift as well.

“We have four separate camps and they’re a week long and we’ll be taking them around teaching them about different things with fishing and just showing them different places to go and also at the end of the camp they’ll get their own tackle and pole set.”
