Kicking off Cruisin’ at the Biloxi Grand Slam Jam at Keesler Federal Park

On Saturday, the Biloxi Grand Slam Jam made its debut at Keesler Federal Park.

The Grand Slam Jam is a new addition to the start of the Cruisin’ the Coast kick off weekend. The Biloxi Shuckers partnered with Ground Zero Blues Club to put on the event.

Guests enjoyed a star-studded line up featuring fan favorite Chapel Hart, Tab Benoit, Amanda Shaw, Taj Farrant and more. Attendee Polly Wedgeworth said, “There are several artists playing that we really enjoy and we’ve been following for a dozen or so years. So, we thought it’s a chance to see several of them at one go.”

Attendee Cheri Taylor said, “There’s so many good bands here that I had to see them. Absolutely, like I wanted to see Taj. I mean, just all of them.”
