Ken Young speaks out about counter claim

Conversation and controversy continues regarding the Biloxi Baseball and Overtime Sports lawsuit and counterclaim.
Owner of Biloxi Baseball Ken Young tells News 25 they wanted to file the counterclaim in a reasonable time to ensure the best outcome. Young claims Bennett and Overtime Sports owe Biloxi Baseball money and have overstepped their boundaries at MGM Park.
The lawsuit details complaints saying Overtime Sports has been disorganized, unprofessional, and not well managed. “It’s completely disorganized and it does not bode well. Those events, the way they’re operated by Overtime, certainly is not in the best interest of Biloxi nor is it in the best interest of the Biloxi Shuckers,” said Young.
Tim Bennett is also an owner of the team and owner of Overtime Sports. He joined Biloxi Baseball in signing leases for use of the stadium. Bennett’s lawsuit claims Biloxi Baseball has shut him out of the business and is threatening to cancel its contract with him.
