In addition to road safety, emergency management agency crews say they are also preparing to protect vulnerable residents and will be on standby through the weekend, ready to respond if conditions worsen.

Officials urge drivers to slow down, especially during early morning hours and to stay informed by monitoring local forecasts and safety information.
