KC & The Sunshine Band to kick off concerts at Sound Amphitheater

The Sound Amphitheater has announced its lineup for the opening of the Gautier stage.

70s icons KC & The Sunshine Band will open the Amphitheater on April 12, followed by Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit on April 19.

All acts were booked through 46 Entertainment, which has a contract to bring entertainment to the venue.

Turning to the country genre, Justin Moore will play the Sound Amphitheater on May 24, followed by Sam Hunt on Sept. 6.

Melissa Etheridge and Jewel will team up for a concert on Sept. 28.

Tickets for most of the concerts will go on sale March 1, except Sam Hunt. That sale date has yet to be announced.
