“Katherine’s Army” coming together to support St. Patrick student Katherine Adams who was recently diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma
Around the time school was let out for summer, one student from St. Patrick High School received news that no one wants to hear. 16 year old rising junior Katherine Adams was told that she has been diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma. Katherine has begun her treatments at MD Anderson, but this will be a very long process.
Along with an outpouring of love, support, and prayers from the Fighting Irish and the Gulf Coast community, they’re coming together as “Katherine’s Army.” Prayer warriors are the overall most important to the Adams family, and along with holding mass for this precious and well loved soccer and tennis star, the community is coming together to raise awareness and funds during Katherine’s fight.
Next Monday, Kat’s army is hosting a pickleball tournament in Biloxi! The entry fee is $10 per person, which is $20 per team. If you are interested in participating, you can text 228-365-2006 with your name and partner’s name plus if you plan on paying with cash or venmo. They ask you to wear yellow and bring money for food!
Then on August 3rd, there will be an “All for Kat” 5K and one mile fun run at the Magnolia Hall Clubhouse in Gulfport. Below is the link for registration and sponsorship forms for the event!
