Kansas wins 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball National Title
Of all the iconic moments this year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament provided, March Madness was the most mad in April as the Big Dance came to a thrilling end in the Big Easy.
Last night, the one-seed Kansas Jayhawks won their fourth national championship all-time in front of nearly 70,000 fans at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
They broke a Division I record in the process, coming back from 16 points down to UNC in the first half, the largest comeback in title game history.
The celebration that ensued from the 72-69 victory was nothing short of electric as players and coaches cut down the nets underneath the umbrella and blue and red confetti.
This is Bill Self’s second title with KU, who beat Texas Southern, Creighton, Providence, Miami, Villanova, and North Carolina on their way to getting their rock chalk one shining moment.
