Kansas City Chiefs become first back-to-back Super Bowl champs in nearly 20 years, defeating San Francisco 49ers 25-22
The Kansas City Chiefs have won Super Bowl 58 over the San Francisco 49ers, 25-22.
In an overtime thriller, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs won their third Lombardi trophy in six years and became the first team to win back-to-back Super Bowls since the New England Patriots in 2004 and 2005.
The Chiefs will now shift their focus to next season, with a chip on their shoulder and an even bigger bullseye on their back, and look to become the first team in NFL history to win back-to-back-to-back Super Bowl.
