JZ 94.5 promotes absentee voting

Local radio station JZ 94.5 went to the Harrison County Courthouse to inform residents on the Coast about absentee voting.

JZ 94.5 wants people on the Coast to know just how easy it to vote absentee. With runoff elections coming up on the 27th, the radio station informed locals there are no excuses when it comes to making their voices heard.

Despite the midterms, runoff elections tend to not have a significant turnout which is why ‘The People’s Station’ decided to do their part to let residents know how voting this time around is pivotal for South Mississippi.  Radio personality Rowe Evans said, “It was significantly higher than usual midterm elections. So, the fact that folks are getting out and making sure they are casting their ballots is enough for folks to understand that this is an important election.”

Harrison County Circuit Clerk Connie Ladner tells News 25 the last day to vote absentee is November 24th.
