Juvenile arrested for aggravated assault in Ocean Springs

Ocean Springs police responded to Westbrook Street at the Westgate Apartments for a complaint of a firearm possibly being discharged.

After arriving on scene, officers were advised of an incident between two juveniles that led to a firearm being discharged. The suspect was located and arrested during a traffic stop. No injuries were reported.

A juvenile male is in custody and is awaiting a hearing for the charge of aggravated assault-assault with a deadly weapon.
