Jurassic Quest coming to the Coast Convention Center

Starting Friday, Jurassic lovers will get a chance to get up close and personal with life-sized animatronic dinosaurs.

Jurassic Quest will be at the Mississippi Coast Convention Center with over 100 dinosaurs, ranging from the very small dinos to the gigantic dinos.

Jurassic Quest is great for all ages. Visitors will get a chance to learn about dinosaurs while having fun enjoying dinosaur rides, face painting, and dinosaur bounce houses.

Those with questions about specific dinosaurs can text the 411 line to get their questions asked directly by rangers on site. Park Ranger Marty said, “If you have kids that are interested in dinosaurs, I always call dinosaurs a gateway science. If your kid is interested in dinosaurs, they are learning about other science whether they realize it or not. They are learning biology. They are learning geography. They are learning geology. They are learning astronomy. They are learning all these things and they don’t even realize it. So, if your kids are into dinosaurs, encourage it.”

Jurassic Quest will open its doors bright and early at 9 a.m. tomorrow through Sunday.
