Junior Firefighter Killed

A 21 year old man has been charged with criminal homicide after a teenage boy died of a gunshot wound inside a Pennsylvania fire department. Police say the shooting happened Sunday evening. Fire department officials confirm the victim was a 16 year old Junior Firefighter who was a sophomore at a local high school. Officials have not released the victim’s name. Neighbors say the death is hitting the community hard.

The suspect, 21 year old George Anthony Matis Jr. was arraigned and is being held without bail.
