Junior Auxiliary of Pascagoula uniform giveaway
The school year is coming up fast and with that comes many expenses for parents. The Junior Auxilary of Pascagoula is doing something to help.
The Junior Auxiliary is holding their second annual uniform closet at the Family Interactive Center in Pascagoula. They say this event is a direct response to a community need they noticed last year. All of the used clothes are donated by community members. Brass Hanger Cleaners cleaned and pressed all of the uniform pieces before they were hung up for today.
Overall they have 1,500 items of clothing to give out and are happy to be helping out their community. Uniform Closet Chairman Erin Marks said, “It’s extremely important for the community to give back to their own members and students so that they can look good on the first day of school and feel good as well. There’s a huge need for help in this area and in these kinds of ways Junior Auxiliary is extremely happy to be able to fill that need.”
This giveaway is happening until 7 and is open to any Gautier, Pascagoula, or Moss Point student.
