Judge grants temporary injunction against The Scratch Kitchen and Bar

A Chancery Court judge on Friday granted the city of Ocean Springs a temporary injunction against The Scratch Kitchen.
Judge Neil Harris ordered The Scratch Kitchen and Bar to cease all operations.
The permanent injunction hearing will be held next Friday at 9 a.m.
Brittany Alexander, owner of the business, said she didn’t have legal counsel and told Harris she did not have access to her records because they are inside her business.
The building is still considered an active crime scene and no one has been permitted inside.
The city requested the temporary injunction after a shooting last Friday night left Chayse Harmon dead and six others wounded.
