Jubilee Havens hosts ‘A Night in her Shoes’

Jubilee Havens is hosting a sit-down dinner Saturday as a part of Human Trafficking Awareness Month.

“A Night in her Shoes’ will feature a three-course meal and live music.

Author Johnnie Bernhard will be the guest speaker for the night. She’ll be talking about her book ‘Hannah and Ariela,’ which features a character who becomes a victim of human trafficking.

Founder Sharon Robbins hopes guests will take these stories and learn the signs of human trafficking. “So, she’ll be talking about those three earmarks of the trafficker, the victim, and then the rescuer in the book. She’s going to bring heart and soul to the story that is real for many people today on the Gulf Coast and all over the United States.”

‘A Night in her Shoes’ is Saturday at the Kroc Center in Biloxi from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $60.
