Josh Ladner named D’Iberville head football coach

After one of the best three-year runs in the recent history of high school football on the Gulf Coast, D’Iberville is running it back with one of its own.

Today, the Harrison County School District Board of Trustees approved Josh Ladner to be the next head football coach of the Warriors.

Also the head powerlifting coach, Ladner has been a key part of D’Iberville’s staff for several years, having most recently served as the offensive line coach during Larry Dolan’s three years as head man in which the Warriors posted an overall record of 29-6.

Now back at Forrest County AHS, Dolan tells News 25 “Coach Ladner works his tail off and is very well-deserving of this opportunity.”

Alongside other assistants Carlton Cotton and Jason Hockaday, Ladner is D’Iberville football through and through, having played varsity on the 2002 state championship team.
