Jones College Women’s soccer team wins National Championship
For the first time in Jones College and MACCC Soccer history, the National Championship trophy now belongs in Ellisville.
The Bobcats struck first in the form of Gemma Whitchurch, followed by two more goals from Celine Ottah and Hilary Jaen. The women secured the National Junior College Athletic Association title over Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas with a final score of 3-0.
Many of our local players are now proudly sporting their championship gear including Aylesia Hartfield, Kennedy Parish, Riley Davis, Jewel Hamilton, Lauren Carothers, and Avery Saulter. George County alum Riley Davis also recently received Second Team All-MACCC honors.
Congratulations to all of the Lady Bobcats!
