Jolly Volunteer Crawfish Boil

Bacot McCarty volunteers rolled up their sleeves and dug into pounds of mudbugs this afternoon for the 2017 Jolly Volunteer and Community Crawfish Boil in Jackson County.
The non-profit that brings in money for youth and education programs on the Coast also received a $15,500 check from Fred’s Super Dollar that will go toward their biggest fundraiser of the year: the Jolly.
This year’s 13th annual Jolly will fall on May 13th. Bacot McCarty Executive Director Todd Trenchard tells News 25 tickets are already sold out.
Trenchard says this is an idea he and few others came up with 13 years ago, but it’s something anybody on the Coast can do to make a better community.
