John Schneider at D’Iberville Film Fest

Local filmmakers got a chance to learn from a man who has had decades of experience on both sides of the camera.
John Schneider, known for his work in television, gaining popularity as Bo Duke in the series “Dukes of Hazzard,” is also a director and producer of independent films.
Schneider is on the Coast for stop number two of eight on his Cineflix Film Festival tour where he showcases independently made movies.
Francisco Gonzalez with the Mississippi film industry said, “We have a group of filmmakers that want to see the Gulf Coast become a unique spot for filmmaking. Our guest today, John Schneider of ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ fame, has managed to make several movies and now create this Cineflix Festival which showcases his work. I think that’s great because that’s an example of what grassroots work can do.”
The Cineflix Film Festival runs through Thursday at the Grand Theatre in D’Iberville.
