Job seekers attend the WXXV Job Fair in Biloxi
Job seekers filed through the Biloxi Civic Center all day for the WXXV Job Fair.
We here at WXXV partnered with more than 20 companies to help South Mississippians find their next job. Some of those businesses include Memorial Health System, the Humane Society of South Mississippi, and Boomtown Casino.
WXXV Digital Sales Manager Michelle Eubank explains why it is so important for our station to organize community-oriented events like these job fairs. “It’s all about creating that human interaction for our community and for our viewers. By creating job fairs and creating more moments like this, we can put more people in need of a job, in need of a career change, put them in front of those businesses that are hiring so they can create those opportunities for themselves.”
The next WXXV Job Fair is scheduled for July 24th in Bay St. Louis.
