Jimmy Buffett honored with highway renaming in Florida

Jimmy Buffett is being honored by the state of Florida.

Florida’s A1A will take on the Mississippi singer’s name.

A stretch of highway leading into Key West is being renamed the Jimmy Buffett Memorial Highway.

Signage was revealed during an event featuring Jimmy’s sister, Lucy Buffett.

Key West is where Jimmy lived and drew inspiration for many songs, including the hit ‘Margaritaville’.
