Jeepin’ the Coast announces 2021 schedule

After having to cancel its 2020 event, Jeepin’ the Coast is planning a jam-packed four-day event for June 2021.

Sunday, the 2021 Jeepin’ the Coast schedule was announced on its Facebook page and a couple new events are featured in this year’s line-up of Jeep events.

Jeeps will now be able to participate in a sound contest called ‘Shakin’ the Streets’ and a light contest ‘Lighting the Night,’ both of which will take place in Pass Christian.

This will be the tenth year Jeeps have taken over the Coast for a weekend in June. However, with the pandemic taking its toll on the Coast economy, President and Founder Jennifer Moran says the events economic impact could be especially helpful this year. “All the cities, the city of Bay St. Louis, Pass Christian, Long Beach, they roll out the red carpet for everybody. I mean, it’s just a huge family reunion, I guess so to speak, for everyone. And, like I said, the cities just– man, they jump on board and I am so looking forward to seeing these businesses thrive again. That’s probably the most important thing of this event is to see our Gulf Coast start thriving again.”
