Jay Ladner Golf Classic on the Coast benefits USM Basketball

The golf links were busy Thursday afternoon as community members came out to support the Southern Miss men’s basketball team.

Sunkist Country Club in Biloxi hosted the first ever Jay Ladner Golf Classic benefiting Golden Eagle basketball.

The event was a huge success as the 30-team tournament sold out with ease.

With the massive amount of support, Head Coach Jay Ladner hopes to make this an annual event on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The Southern Miss men’s basketball team will kick off the season on Monday, November 2 as they host Tougaloo.
