Jaxon Ronsonet Returns Home
The teenager attacked by a pit bull in Biloxi last month returned home this afternoon after spending several weeks at the New Orleans Children’s Hospital.
Jaxon and his brother, Bentley, were both attacked by their neighbor’s pit bull. Jaxon suffered most of his injuries trying to save his five-year-old little brother. Bentley recovered from most of his injuries and is now back to running and playing as normal. However, doctors had to amputate Jaxon’s left leg.
The past couple of weeks have been rough for both of the brothers and they could not wait to reunite this afternoon.
Home help will now go out to Jaxon’s home to administer his medicine and do wound care every other day. His mom says she knows that the road to recovery will be a long one, but she’s thankful Jaxon remains in high spirits through it all.
