Jackson woman wins 2023 Nissan from Mississippi Lottery

One lucky woman drove away from Gulfport Nissan in a brand new truck, thanks to the Mississippi Lottery Corporation!

Cassandra Woods of Jackson is the winner of a 2023 Nissan Titan Pro 4x and $10,000.

Cassandra and her husband made the trip down to Gulfport Nissan to claim her winnings earlier today.

She won the final drawing in the Mississippi Lottery’s Summer of Fun promotion, which features 15 first-place winners in total.

“So I got the letter and I opened it, and on the first thing I saw was ten thousand and then I saw Nissan and I threw it down. I couldn’t believe it,” Woods said. “Then I picked it back up and read it. Then, I ran and showed Tony. I said ‘read this’. Once he read it, he gave it back to me and I just said woooooo!!!”

The lottery’s next promotion is called ‘Cruisin 4 Cash’, which is tied in with the upcoming Cruisin the Coast festivities.

The top prize for ‘Cruisin 4 Cash’ is $50,000.
