Jackson George Regional Library System libraries suspend on-site services
PASCAGOULA, MS- All branches of the Jackson-George Regional Library System will suspend all on-site services beginning Friday, March 20, 2020, due to the Coronavirus pandemic until further notice.
This suspension will be reviewed on Friday, April 17, 2020, by the library Board of Trustees at which time a decision will be made about reactivating services.
Book drops closed for returns at all branches. Patrons are to keep materials until further notice. Fines will be suspended and patrons will not be charged during this time.
However, patrons are encouraged to use all free library services available from the library website at www.jgrls.org. Library card holders will be able to check out downloadable materials such as e-books, magazines, audio books, and more.
The library has extended checkout times and set automatic renewals for most items.
Other free resources include databases, language and learning apps and databases which may be useful to students that are home from school.
