Jackson George Regional Libraries launch free pantries

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Jackson George Regional Library System is excited about the launch of free pantries at library branches across the system.

This project aims to assist families and individuals in need while encouraging the spirit of giving within our communities.

Each pantry will be stocked with unopened toiletries, pet food, and non-perishable food items donated by caring patrons and local supports.

The public is encouraged to donate any items to the library system to help keep the pantries stocked year-round.
