Jackson County woman indicted in 2023 death of pedestrian

A 35-year-old Jackson County woman has been indicted in the death of a pedestrian from 2023.
Lisa Ribarin was arrested Tuesday on a two-count indictment in the death of Robert Brouhard.
Brouhard was walking on Washington Avenue the night of January 23, 2023, when he allegedly was hit by Ribarin. The indictment goes on to say that she was over the legal limit of alcohol and that she failed to stop or return to the scene after allegedly hitting Brouhard near the entrance of Gulf Hills in Ocean Springs.
Brouhard was taken to a local hospital and later transferred to New Orleans, where he died as a result of his injuries.
Ribarin has been indicted on charges of DUI causing death and leaving the scene of an accident with injury or death.
She has since bonded out of the Jackson County jail.
