Jackson County Teenager In Critical Condition

At 01:22, Monday morning the Jackson County Sheriff Department responded to what was described as an explosion at 6510 Jim Ramsey Rd.

On arrival Deputies found a 2003 Chevrolet Traiibiazer had struck a tree and burst into flames. The impact ejected the driver and the seat in which he was seat belted.

The driver was a 14 year old male who had taken his mother’s vehicle without permission.

The juvenile was transported to USA Medical Center by Life Flight in critical condition.

The accident remains under investigation.
