Jackson County Sheriff’s Office recognizes dispatchers hard work
JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Following Thursday’s shooting, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department gave a shout out to their day shift dispatchers.
They were recognized for their professionalism and composure during the situation.
The sheriff’s department says their ability to remain calm, focused, and precise ensured deputies had the information they needed when it mattered most.
The department says as the situation continued into the evening, the dispatchers remained a constant source of calm and coordination.
They added the ability to handle high stress calls reflect the level of training and commitment they bring to every shift.
